4th of July Parade!

The Tracy Dems participated in the 2009 Tracy 4th of July parade and the after-parade festivities held at Lincoln Park. Congressman Jerry McNerney was there and helped out at our booth as well.

Stockton’s 2009 Inaugural Gala

On the evening of Tuesday, January 20, 2009 from 7:00 pm to 10:00 pm the San Joaquin County Democratic Central Committee will be holding our Inaugural Gala Event to celebrate Barrack Obama being sworn in as the 44th President of the United States of America.

The celebration will be held at the Stockton Ballroom located at 9650 Thornton Road, Stockton, CA 95209.

View the Dream Gathering in STK on MLK 2009

“View the Dream: A Gathering for Nonviolent Living” will take place on Monday, January 19, Martin Luther King, Jr. Day, at 7 pm at Central United Methodist Church, 3700 Pacific Avenue, Stockton, CA 95204.

There will be refreshments, information tables on a number of social action opportunities, a half hour showing of the movie, “What Is Active Nonviolence?” as a personal and social lifestyle, and discussion and planning for next steps we Americans can take in making our community and world a better place for all. SJGA Answers President-Elect Obama’s Call for Service

San Joaquin Grassroots Action (SJGA) is answering President-Elect Obama’s call for national service by sponsoring a full day of service on the day before the Presidential Inauguration, Monday, Jan. 19th, the federal holiday for Dr. Martin Luther King’s birthday.
